Understanding reason of rejection

I was just rejected for Amazon Pay Credit Card. The reason was that I do not have sufficient credit history. How long of a credit history is actually required for this? Right now I have approximately 3 years of credit history, a few months give or take.

Maybe 20-30
Many were paylater that were closed about 1 year ago
Currently only 6-7 accounts active
