Univest Elite 12% investment

Hello, I have invested 50k rs on univest elite for 12% return on 1year lock in period.
I know it is not risk free.Bank FD's are automatically insured upto 5lakhs.
Can I buy insurance personally against NBFC deposit( in this case univest lends money to Faircent NFBC)?
Please help.
