Upgrade from Indusind select account to indusind pioneer branch, is it possible?

that depends on profile, credit age, other credit cards, c2c or online, etc.

I applied via an agent in July but got rejected after the verification. The day before yesterday a pre-approved offer via WA and email (Platinum Rupay and Visa both variants, Aura Edge, Legend, Eazy Dinner Platinum, and Signature Both) without any documents or verification card got approved within minutes. Not sure about the limit but the card that was generated received the WA message and last 4 digits.
Indusind is very Mysterious. Using the Select Account not regularly and previously held the Legend Add-on and now I have my card.

yes, random behavior. btw, these cards not much beneficial. 1 card is enough for this bank.
 
Trying to get account upgrade from Exclusive to Pioneer since August but no luck till now, branch people & RM very less interested to put much efforts on upgrade (may be no benefit they get with Account Upgrades), both are insisting to open new account for Pioneer and get existing accounts mapped.
Inspite of maintaining balance criteria from past 4 month no upgrade offer getting triggered. Branch RM saying upgrade can happen only after it triggers in their banking system, god knows what criteria system checks to trigger the upgrade.

Tried escalating to nodal officer but get same response every time- account not eligible for upgrade.

Steps to Open Select AC and Link with Legend CC:​

  1. Open Account at Branch:
    • Visit the branch, open the account by providing the initial payment (IP) or anything they request.
    • Don’t ask any questions related to linking, unnecessary.
  2. Set Up Mobile/Netbanking:
    • After the account is open, log in to mobile or net banking, create your user ID, and check the balance.
  3. Link Credit Card:
    • Once everything is set up, link your credit card to the same user ID. The account will effectively be zero balance.
  4. Handle Charges:
    • Keep a copy of the SOC PDF in case there are any charges (95% no such charges). If they appear, share it, and they’ll usually reverse them.
  5. Ignore Old Credit Card ID:
    • You won’t need your old credit card user ID anymore, so just ignore it. Can't link bank account to it, so just ignore it.

Note: Same Process for Pinnacle + Exclusive.

1. I already have legend CC and i created user ID long back.
2. Opened select account with initial IP
3. I linked the select account to the existing CC login, via link bank account in the app by entering debit card details, now i can see both credit card and saving account details in the app(also i have created a Indie app login). Iam able to trasact with the account now. I have not created seperate user ID for saving account.

whether my account is now ZMB or not, i dropped a mail for confirmation. waiting for reply. funds still parked.

usually observed issues with netbanking, mobile banking still works. If no issues with existing userid, still good to go. Its done, happy 0 balance.

I think this process failed, i didt got any reply, i called Customer care and got to know that still account needed 50K balance, the guy told to visit the branch for ZMB conversion. I will try to follow your procedure by creating new account and then link Legend to it.

Since you're new to IndusInd, few things

- mails never get response even for valid query.
- sometimes you may receive response after 2 months.
- customer support responds on paper template.

If both under same user id, you no need to do again.

Earlier I asked for 'let me know if you get any response from customer support' because I believe based on my experience you'll never get and you'll experience how their support works.

It will work, don't do anything unless they charged some min. balance or mostly you'll get message saying 'maintain balance to avoid charges'. Till then all good.

If they charged somehow share SOA and explain it was linked with card, you can get fee waived.

Bro followed exactly same steps 1 & 2.
But I am not able to see bank account details in app even after linking it.
Does it take some time?
