Upgrade Offer to Millennia - LTF Offer possible?

Hi Folks,

I am holding LTF Regalia First Card and I got an upgrade offer in email for Millennia Card but only First year free will be waived off. Is there any way that it can be converted to LTF by adding bills in Smart Pay or issuing add-on cards or meeting any spend based target?

For the answer to your question- Yes, you can get the annual fee waived if you spend 1L in a year

But, do not upgrade. I would not advise upgrading to millenia- unless you plan to maximize the benefit through wallet payments and others since you are going from LTF to paid card. But for other things such as amazon and stuff, you have better cards out there.

Even if you are hell bent on conversion, why I wouldn't advise conversion is because, over a while, you will be moving to premium cards, and you would want to make spends on those cards, in addition to spending 1L on Millenia card to get the fees waived. Moreover, Regalia First has international lounge access (if that is something that you want)

If your offer for Millenia was LTF, you could have converted if it suited you. But otherwise, this is not even a good offer. But it all depends on your preference.

Won’t suggest to upgrade. Regalia is a step higher than Millennia card. Why would want to go back?
