Initially when they introduced tiers, they said these offers are linked to the card and not the status of the account. Which means till we have the signature dc, we can get those benefits without maintenance Megastar tier.

Was it?

I remember they said during launch if we get enough 'gems' based on that balance the tier can be maintained as well without account balance requirement i.e., 750 for Superstar and 1500 for Megastar. Which they now deny.

How many gems are the cheaters giving? For 3 credit card bills the cheaters gave 150 as expected (per 150 per bill category) but for separate power bill paid, the cheaters not crediting 50. It looks like they love RBI ombudsman complaints.

It works, try on weekdays and in daytime. Wont work in the same quarter you got downgraded to superstar/star though.

Nope, they won't upgrade in the same quarter you are downgraded.

You can either maintain 50k for this quarter for automatic upgrade or you can call them in next quarter i.e April, on the mentioned number by OP.

For me it always says call ended without any ring.

Oh okay then this quarter rewards will not get it.

Indie users who have been downgraded from megastar to superstar/star can get upgraded easily. Follow these steps:

1. Call on +918071244777 from registered phone. This is their special number to get upgraded to megastar. (Normal customer care has no clue about upgrade and will say maintain 50k this month and next month upgrade will happen. So, don't call normal customer care number)
2. Mostly after calling this number they'll say number is busy and they'll call back.
3. They'll call you back same day within few hours and will ask for funding. Transfer balance to indie account to make it 50k (you can fund account while they call you or before that)
4. They will say that your call is getting recorded and make you promise that you will maintain 50k balance. Say "yes I'll maintain 50k".
5. After your promise is recorded, they'll forward the request to their team, and you'll get upgraded within 72 hours.

After that there is less change of downgrade in the current quarter, even if 50k not maintained. Enjoy.

If you happen to add funds, then let us know if that is working. I doubt though. 2 quarters ago, I also got similar add 50k banner but upgrade didn't happen after adding funds. Then I upgraded through the process mentioned on post #1.
