UPI Issue – Need Your Thoughts!

Hey everyone,
Recently we all are facing UPI server issues over the past few days, so I wanted to discuss something related.

The main concern is: when someone pays via UPI, which app is the most reliable in terms of not getting stuck in a "pending" state? I’m okay if the payment fails instantly, but pending status creates confusion.

Here’s what happened recently:
A friend tried to pay at a shop using Paytm UPI. The amount went into pending. After waiting 10 minutes with no update, he paid cash to the shopkeeper and left. Later at home, he saw that the UPI transaction had gone through successfully, so basically, the shopkeeper got paid twice.

So now I’m wondering—which UPI app do you guys trust the most for smooth, quick payments (especially in real-time at shops)?
Would love to hear your experiences!

I've used only GPay like 99% times. 1% times bank app UPI.
Sometimes GPay shows which bank is facing issues while doing the payment.

It's NPCI backend issue, can't do anything about it tbh.

Does yesterdays and today's glitch due to the budget restructuring???

Idk... Frankly if anyone knows, let us know...

ye dekho bhai iska koi solution hai?
ye payment (07 March) maine kiya tha bob se nsdl self ac payment debit hua bob se nsdl me credit bhi ho gaya but bhim me show nahi hua pending tha maine comaplaint same day kiya koi solution nahi abhi tak hua kya kuch kiya jaa sakta hai. reason ye self tha to koi problem nahi receiving ac me mil gaya but yahi same cheez kisi third person ko karta to pata nahi chalta na isme loss hone ka khatra rehta.

TSP companies k side se bahut issue aa rahe hai.

Aur hume UPI ka ek alternative bhi chahiye. last month he mai bata raha tha.

They are saying that it's an intermittent technical issue. We have no other option but to cooperate, but they should be careful with it as frequent outages may break the trust.

With self-transfer, I'd assume that it's a different logic as every app it has a dedicated flow for this.

I believe TSP is a flawed concept in democratization of "everything" domain.

NPCI issue ho tho.. You can't do anything even If you use reputed banks scan n pay feature...
Overall I suggest you to use banking apps scan n pay feature... Won't get any rewards but it's trustworthy and pending ka prob nai hota hai..
Another one I use is samsung pay.. It is too either paid or failed..

🙄 Pending me hota hai. I run business, customers ke pending ate hai. Amt debited from their side bec once transaction initiated bank takes the amount.. Due to pending, I don't get the amount credited. Phir ata hai time taken to resolve jesa dikhta hai (hours/days).
So customer gives the amount in cash n then leaves..
Few hours ya max 2 days ke Baad, customer either receives the amount to his acc or the amount will be credited to mine.. Customer calls n check n then If it credited to me, I send them back..

Ab bank ka QR hai, so either failed or success. Prob solved..
When I am use UPI, I use bank scan and samsung pay.. Either failed or success.
