Urgent! Bill not reflecting when paid through HDFC Netbanking Bill pay portal

So I want to pay my Axis CC bill via HDFC netabanking portal, as we get 1% CB using the platinum debit card. For trial I paid 100rs first. It's showing as success and I'm pretty sure my card details are correct as I double checked it. But in my Axis card CC statement it's not reflecting since 2 days. Does it take so much time to pay the bill? For comparison when I paid my bill through CheQ app I got the message from Axis bank within a minute.
 
Hello everyone. It has happened again
I paid my HSBC card bill via bill pay on 21st May. It’s been more than a week but the bill is not reflecting in my HSBC account.

I tried contacting HDFC bank and they said to resolve it by 24th July. Whatt!?

My due date is tomorrow. Should I pay the bill from CRED and ask for HDFC for a refund? Or should I wait because if the bill is paid tha date would be of 21st May. But if its bounced back then it would count as late payment.

Settlement shouldn't take more than 3-4 business days. This is the reason rbi gives the grace period.
But if settlement happens after grace period , bank might report late payment and charge late fee.
Better to pay from mobikwik/cred (i think paytm also) etc which settles in imps.
And hdfc won't do refund, hsbc might.
