Use of AMEX credit card

I wonder, where we are using this Amex credit cards?

Never see any offers on our online ecommerce sites?

It is worth to keep Amex card in india?

I used it for wallet loads , online shopping and malls, as well as on less known websites where there’s a chance of not receiving product / service. Amex has a good chargeback system so I feel safe.

Amex usually gives spend based offers. You may also find offers in offline electronics stores.

Amex have their own Reward Multiplier portal which has good vouchers and you get accelerated rewards as well

if you have Amex MRCC use it for 1500x4 and 20k milestone to got 2000 bonus rewards

i have posted a similar post asking for one website where there is offer on AMEX
Atleast in tier two cities acceptance of AMEX is ultra low less than i feel 1 in 20
FYI I live in a metro city and own 3 American Express cards primarily using for online usage only.
Agree the fact even in metro cities Amex is acceptable only on shopping malls.
I share my pattern here which maybe useful prior to get an Amex decide any 2 cards of Indian banking cards like I’ve regalia Apay and sbi cb cards which I use for all purchases and wait to get bill here comes use of amex I mean use it for amazon load and pay cc of regalia and other cards. Amex billing I pay from scb account.
Spend pay repeat🙂

Thank you but how do you load amazon wallet using amex ?

The reason why I use scb account for amex payments is its just a fund transfer within scb and one can see payment credit in amex app same day sometimes after a couple of hours if paid during daytime

I think, better to stick with normal cards only 😅
Yes it’s one’s own preference as well as requirements
For ex why I maintain a gold charge with fee even there’s no lounge access to this card is to carry my credit history for any abroad country where American Express banking corporation exists and on day 1 i can get a cc in that country from amex.
Note: only charge card history will be considered internationally by amex not normal credit cards

For this i have HDFC 🙂 for now it's instant
Happy to hear that and hope u use 1%CB via platinum route.
BTW once or twice i tried amex bill via HDFC but issue i had is that u cant add payee for multiple amex cards since HDFC system thinks that its duplicate and says that the card is already registered.
Reason: all amex cards start and end with same numbers (ex. 3798 and 91005)

yep true not sticking to 1% route ..main reason is reliability.. I have lost trust on CRED and Mobikwik So to pay i have only HDFC for now .. I can use IMPS too

Yep agreed due dates are important for us than that 1%CB and Mobikwik taking too much time for crediting into card account nowadays and just a 5k we can try for a free 200 bucks (pay it before bill generation itself lol)
