5% discount is by using some amount of intermiles if i am not wrong

There is no "Travel MCC". And Intermiles doesn't qualify for Atlas bonuses. And no OTA does.

There's a massive difference between "Spend Category" and specific MCC codes. A spend category is subject to SBI's definition and can have ONE or ONE THOUSAND MCC codes.

Axis uses a very narrow definition of airport & hotel MCCs. Most of them are company specific. So DL, UA, Marriott etc. have their own unique MCCs.

It's unlikely that Intermiles is getting 4511 or 7011 which are the two generic airlines & hotel MCCs.

OTA are very clearly not allowed in this list. So I'm still very skeptical about that.
