Axis Magnus Value of Points redemption after card closure and retention benefits

I am closing my Vanilla Magnus by this month's end, I wanted to know if I can redeem the accrued Edge Points at the existing 5:2 or if I should do the transfer before closing the card. I am holding Axis FK and Atlas beside this, so their points/miles/CB do not have an impact. I do have some points from Debit cards though.

Also, let me know if Axis is providing any retention benefits these days.

Would suggest you to transfer all pending points @ 5:2 ratio before closing the card as transfer ratio shud technically drop after closing magnus

I think the same, however thought to ask here if anyone has experienced it.

I guess most of us have transferred before closing magnus. However your case is unique as you don't have other card which earns ER. Following for more insights.

Yeah, so will close the card unless they offer some lucrative retention benefit, and will use up the points, better get 5:2 rather getting pennies
