We have added a new feature: thread mark

Only moderators can change the owner or date, and we have a log for these actions.
Yes, this feature is not available to others. It's for admin(s)/moderators. That's why used '...' not to cause offence.
If a moderator changes the owner, they must enter a valid reason.
Valid reason? 😬
I’ve done this at times to protect a thread, especially if there’s a concern that a member might delete it if asked by the bank.
Not talking about the post like this. 👆

Some posts relating to DEVALUATION, new info in the market, some informational also. ✅
Sometimes, members even request me to change the thread owner to maintain their anonymity. Rest assured, no one is going to steal credit.
What's anonymity?
Most of the members don't have even real first name here. Why would someone post in the first place then? What's confidential there which will be leaked on sharing basic info?

Whatever, don't get offended, I haven't got convinced with these explanations and justifications, hope you don't mind, considering, free speech! 🙂

Such a bad practice to steal credit of someone's post by changing the OP and date/time, to show I am the one who posted it first, but it reality it's not.

No offense, but it's what it's.

So basically if the OP doesn't utilise the feature we got to rely on TF legend or above or a mod and if even they don't do it then the feature becomes useless..
Correct me if I'm wrong about the above..
I highly doubt if a thread get's 10-15 pages the OP will go through it all (once his query is resolved or incase he has posted some information) and mark the imp replies..
I'd suggest maybe lower the criteria to use thread mark feature..

That's what I was explaining as well. OP doesn't even mark answers in the thread, so let's not even discuss thread marks. Lowering the criteria will only make things worse.

Let's say the feature becomes available to everyone, including Neo and Buzz. Even then, there’s no guarantee that those guys will use it to mark answers in a 30-40 pages thread.

Forget about reading 30-40 pages, people with lower ranks often don’t even read the last page or first page or any posts. They just open the thread and immediately post their query.

Overall, I think it's in a good place right now. Let’s see how this evolves.

Bro..can u introduce a feature that we can see only recent/new threads i.e. threads posted based on recency....If anyone not interested in recent reply and only interested in new posts than it will be very useful feature....Right now new posts include threads with recent replies also.

There is a bookmark feature already available on TF Community, it's very powerful. People are not using it, but it can be very beneficial.
You can add any thread/reply/comment to bookmark and label it as per your wish.
You can check bookmarks from your profile page or from account tab.

Don't worry, I am using it from the start! 😜

Others may be not aware about the features/ don't like to explore. Also, there is no any dedicated thread explaining all the features.

There are hundreds of features available on tf community... ts difficult to post about all feature...
Maybe we can use ai tools to generate a feature guide....

As you know this is spoon feeding generation. So, don't expect others to learn from exploring or hit & trail. 😂

By all the features, I meant most important ones which is useful in day-to-day life. Like, bookmarks, spoiler, links attachment in text/image, attachment of files, image, GIF, table, divider, quote, filter, search, draft, etc.

TLDR; More precisely, especially hidden features, like bookmarks.

Yeah, integration of AI can simply most of the things.

Well maybe an upvote system like reddit/stackoverflow is way better..
Thoughts on this? @TechnoFino

who said he's removing it

(no promotion its just coincidence play at your own risk)

Typically, when a feature is underutilized, it’s common for teams to consider reducing its development focus or even phasing it out, often due to perceived lack of interest (people are not using it). So, I just wanted to emphasize that there are indeed users like me who value and actively use this feature, in case any discussions or decisions about its future are already being considered.

This response isn’t a random reply; it’s meant to underscore the feature’s value from the perspective of those who would miss it if it were removed.
