Regalia Gold What does exception approval mean?

Hi. Tried to upgrade my LTF DCP to RegaliaGold. Got upgraded as Paid card instead. Emailed grievance support explaining that I wanted to upgrade as LTF. Got the below email back. What does this mean.

Your query/concern Exceptional approval related. has been registered under Case Reference No.8845784.

We truly understand how important this matter is to you. Our team is working diligently to provide a resolution by 17-12-2025.

It means they are throughly rechecking your request as an exception whereas in normal case it cannot be considered. But it doesn't always mean the request will be approved.

Basically, the bank is currently in this state after you raised your request

I asked for LTF conversion. They raised exceptional approval request but declined the same
