What is the best use of Tata Neu Coins?

Recently got the HDFC Tata Nue Infinity Credit card as FYF. Want to know about the best use of the earned Nue coins. BigBasket is not serviceable in my area. 1Mg feels costly to me. Please suggest if we can purchase GV using Nue coins.

Not only all of the above but big basket's delivery is nightmare in our area :- (do not want to waste a hard enquiry to get cc for nothing if cant use bb)

• Big basket's delivery guys falsely claim that customer did not answer; so they cancel existing order.
• Then they put a replacement order with a random time slot without customer's authorisation & availability
• Then the replacement order gets cancelled.
• This time they refund prepaid orders to bbwallet again without customer's authorisation & preference.
• Finally u are stuck with money in bbwallet
• Not to mention the neu app's UI/UX is messed up & visibility of letters on chat support is disaster

Heard tata is planning to scrap coins on other upi apps & force you to use their app for 1.5%

1MG is charging delivery fees for me. So I don't use it. (For free delivery it is asking to subscribe to some feature).

I use Neu app mostly only for UPI transactions using Neu infinity card (1.5%).
Coins are valid for 1 year. So I wait till I have some 400-500 coins and then use them to purchase something from Bigbasket without paying anything extra.
Didn't find any other best use case yet.

Actually, neucoins earned from the Neu card does not have a fixed 1 year validity. It is 1 year since your "last neucoin" transaction, i.e. the validity gets extended each time you earn/redeem neu coins.

i think it depends on bill amount.. though i haven't used recently.. but 3months back i placed 2 orders it was free delivery.

Even bigbasket has delivery charges + handling charges. Rs 30 + 6 below 500 and Rs 10 + 6 between 500 and 1000.

Yes, + we can also buy gift vouchers (including amazon pay gift voucher) from tata neu app using infinity card and get 5% neu coins.
No extra fees charged in neu app.

The regular Neu Coins, if you keep using the Neu Card or the Neu App, would never expire effectively. Each time you earn Neu Coins, the validity of your entire collection gets extended by a year. And it has always been like that. Promotional Neu Coins, the extra Neu Coins you earn in addition to the regular Coins say during the Rewards League, would have a fixed expiry. Sometimes 1 month, some times 3 months.
I usually use the promotional coins right away on BB or 1MG. fThe latter of course would give you free delivery only if you have the 'Care Plan Subscription. If you have regular medicine orders, then its worth it as the care plan prices are relatively less on large orders.
As for the regular Neu Coins, I usually accumulate them, and use it on big transactions on Croma or flight/hotel booking. Everywhere it gives 1/1 value, but on big transaction, you can manage a big expense without spending together from your money.

Thanks for this explanation. I was having a different assumption.

Each coin unlocks on different dates (based on our transaction). And each unlocked coin is valid for 1 year from the date of unlock.

In the below example, when does the 2 coins (as on Jan 10 2024) expire? Is my understanding correct?
