I Am Thinking To Open Account In IDFC Bank... So I Wanted To Know The Minimum And The Maximum MAB For Accounts In A Family Group.

Hey, you must have noticed the recent debit card charges levied by IDFC from June 30th.

People are trying to close their IDFC accounts right now, are you sure you want to look the other way ?

Family group as in wealth/select ?

Not sure if you've tried though but IDFC allows you to apply for credit card on their website via PAN, Aadhar etc.

As also in the final steps you get an option to upload your existing credit card statement for a better offer (C2C). I got my select that way.

No hassle for a savings account if you have no other utility other than applying for a Credit Card.

Sir, I ve wealth account with idfc nw I want to add my wife n my minor child to wealth acct bt opening their account, pl guide procedure n their account will be opened zero MAB acct as per my wealth account

Connect with your RM.. he will be able to take approval for family banking/grouping and will also be able to guide you about MAB requirements as well..

Ohhkk.. try calling customer care to get an RM assigned if no RM is there as RM can help you with family banking grouping..
For me as well things were done by RM only..

Regarding MAB.. I think you need to maintain MAB as per your account variant and it doesn't get converted to zero balance account

I have tried multiple times in past 1-2 year but everytime I heard the same 'There is no Family Grouping concept in IDFC Bank'.
We have separate Wealth accounts in family and cant be grouped into one family.

Yes I mentioned about this T&C as well but they replied it is not yet enabled by the bank. Not sure if anyone managed to get Family Group created in IDFC from this forum.

I do have family group created for my and my family members idfc Bank account.. mine was wealth and family members account was recently upgraded to select... After grouping.. family members account was upgraded to wealth after 30-40 days.. as they were upgraded to select 2-3 days before grouping

I have family banking since February this year.. and I have My wife, my kid and myself in that family grouping.

So this is 100% enabled.

Once RM enable family grouping, you will get mails like this:

Congratulations!

You are now part of a group at IDFC FIRST bank

Please find below your group details:

1. Name : XXXXXXX , Role in Group is : Self And Contact Detail : ************

2. Name : XXXXXXX , Role in Group is : Spouse And Contact Detail : ************

What's actual Process ? RM Sends any Links or OTPs For Consent ?? or We need to Fill any Form ?? Plz Guide Genuinely Help Required
