What will happen to traction on cards in social media after axis does devaluation

Actually 50-90% of the total points ever earned by members does not ends up in redemption. Earlier it was upwards of 90% but due to online option, it is getting better day by day. Just remember the amount of loyalty points that you have earned in your lifetime, how much you have managed to encash? Those Shoppers Stop, Kingfisher, Jet, Lifestyle, Credit cards (specially old days) etc..

Lost couple of lakh points on both Kingfisher and Jet

Technical glitch cant be for just 2 partners that too the most used ones. The discussion on removal or reducing conversion ratio must be the reason. In the meanwhile, are there any good partners with good vfm to chose now

Yep but I personally feel the value I received on intermiles was elss than what I would have on jet. Finished the last bunch of points early last year on intermiles
 
All this miles game , 5 star hotels and foreign travels via credit card points via axis is just like a bubble which will first deflate slowly and then suddenly. Axis has already realized how much losses they are incurring. So all the new popped up advisories on how to use miles for flights and foreign trips charging money will close in next 6 months.

Classic case of exuberance just like all financial bubbles.

Make sure this is just a sidekick and you are fully focused on your career and biz. That is the real reward generator for life.

Absolutely agree, just look 1 year back where was Axis and it's points?

Didn't exist for most of us right.
Similarly, it's not expected that this will go on forever.
View it as a short term period and find yourself lucky that you hold one Magnus.

But one thing is for sure, either Axis or maybe other bank will definitely be there to stay in competition and benefit consumers.

Ultimate goal must be to increase active income because that's what will increase your spend and you'll get rewards on top of it


Rewards cannot be considered as a sole earning but an earning on top of spenders.
Whoever considers it the other way might have to face setbacks.
