What's the best credit card to use on Booking.com for hotel booking?

I was comparing hotel prices and found Booking.com was the cheapest. Which is the best credit card for payment? I compared with Smartbuy and MMT and they are 10-30% more expensive. Will you get 5% using Swiggy? I've Indusind Legend, HDFC MB+, Swiggy, Tata Neu Plus, Federal Bank Signet, Apay.

You won't get 5% on Swiggy as it is not in the included MCC.
Btw, is booking.com really the cheapest? 10-30% seems like a big discount.

To get the best hotel rate just go to Mozilla safe mode or Google incognito and search for Google hotels and put in your dates and location.
you will find many online travel agencies offering lower and lower prices.
Booking.com will be one of these, but they will not be the cheapest because they earn 15 to 20% as commission

are these platforms cheaper than booking directly in hotel website?

what about using sbi cashback on booking.com?
SBI CB should give. There's a recent thread on this

Room nights, just like air tickets, are a perishable commodity
so if a hotel has a hundred rooms they need to sell 36500 room nights every year.
so they normally sell in bulk 1000, 2000, 5000 or 10000 room nights to these global giant agencies at very low prices.

Yes, the Hotel cannot match these agents because they buy room nights in bulk from the hotel
got it, thanks for the explanation bro, but how do we find agents that we can trust from the web? booking.com and well know sites are fine, how about the unknown ones? how to filter legit ones?

So first you find the one giving you the lowest price (usually Agoda via Google hotels) and then check its reviews and rating on trust pilot.

Usually its Agoda, but only via Google hotels.
if you go directly to Agoda you will not get a good price.
Agoda undercuts the competition, but only if there is competition

If you are satisfied kindly give me Max points for my reputation

Don't have the SBI CB.

For the specific hotel I selected yes. Smartbuy via Yatra was 26K, MMT 20K. Booking 18K. Agoda 19K.
Now delete all cookies & temp files and open Google hotels in Google incognito or Mozilla Firefox safe mode and check it again (on Google hotels) and tell me the prices

Will depend on city and hotel size. Smaller cities and hotels found booking direct from hotel site gave better rates. Going to austria in may the hotel which i selected in innsbruck and salzburg gave better rate on their website and in vienna budapest better on bookings.com/ agoda
