What's your credit card(s) bill generation date? Is it random?

Is it possible to have a bill generation date of our own choice? If yes, then can we do it with every bank? I was thinking to have a common date on all of my cards so that I could know when I have to pay plus how much my total credit card expenses are going.

TBH she had no knowledge of new rbi guidelines so don't know what procedure they are following for cycle change but if HDFC asks for manual request for limit enhancement after 6 months down the line I will have no other option but to rely on auto debit

Umm, actually, RBI has mandated to allow to change the bill date at least once. Banks can give more than that.

OneCard is providing option to change bill generation date to 1st or 20th of a month, but it can only changed once.

yes it definitely makes sense to have a common date for all the cards. as per the rbi rule there should be an option to change the cycle date one time but dont see the option in hdfc netbanking yet.

I don't see any advantage having same date except for better monitoring purposes. Shouldn't it be distributed across the month to have better utilisation of cards. For ex. I prefer multi use dates for my cards 1-7, 8-15, 16-22, 23-30 . I use two cards between the dates unless there is better offer from any other card that way I get to use that card for approx. 37-40+days. But to each there own
