And pray the ban should not be lifted very soon.
More long this ban will continue, they will be desperate more to recapture the market.
And more they will be desperate, more LTF offers for higher variants cards will be offered based on how good negotiator you are.

It's been so long and I don't understand why the ban hasn't been lifted. Diners complied pretty quick and the ban was lifted in 6 months or so.

If data storage was really an issue and they aren't moving to Indian servers, why isn't RBI making a complete ban of them, that is to ban the entire network and not just the issue of new cards? I think there are other factors at play here.

Yes but they came back in 6 months or so.

Dinners has very little network unlike visa and mastercard. Rupay is directly competing with only rupay and mastercard, not really dinners.

Rupay users the Diners network (Discover). So wherever rupay is accepted, diners is too and vice versa.

Maybe that's the reason, Diners got back in 6 months. Whereas Amex and Mastercard are still banned. 😂
