Which card is better for Amazon transaction Apay ICICI or Amex MRCC?

I recently received Amex MRCC and To achieve monthly milestone of 4 transaction of 1500+ buying amazon gift is one option. Also there's 1% flat off on Amazon gift card on Amex rewards multiplier.

My question is it better to directly use Apay ICICI card or buy Amazon gift card via MRCC for amazon transactions?

Apay will be best since it’s directly yielding 5%
However if you are into airlines or hotel points game then use MRCC for 20k in a month and get points for playing with amex points
