Where to spend ?

Phonepe app - Credit Card bill pay via IDFC Firstap Sticker RuPay Platinum Debit Card without any charges -

MCC 4814, if you get these merchant names only - 👇🏼👇🏼

PHONEPE RECHARGE BANGALORE
PHONEPE RECHARGE
Phonepe recharge
WWWPHONEPECOM Gurgaon
WWWPHONEPECOM
WWWPHONEPE
phonepe banglore
phonepe

Before moving to another debit card, you might ask why we want to use IDFC RuPay?

Answer:
Because "RuPay hai toh zindagi hai!" – okay, sorry, thora bhabnao me bahe gaya

Real answer: The RuPay variant has no extra charges on the PhonePe app.

Second thing: With Visa/Mastercard, some merchant names are not eligible, but with the RuPay variant, you will always get the eligible merchant names I mentioned above.

Note - Freecharge is also eligible but personally not verified yet with IDFC RuPay and no extra charges on RuPay variant on Freecharge.

2) SBI Debit cards/SBI Virtual Debit Cards:

Okay, first go to the SBI YONO app or SBI Net Banking and apply for the "Virtual RuPay Global Variant" (SBI Virtual Debit Card is Lifetime Free).

SBI Physical RuPay DC - reward value 0.25%
SBI Virtual RuPay DC - reward value 0.50% (0.25% extra is due to virtual bonus)

1 reward pts = 0.25 paisa

For a 50k spend using RuPay virtual DC, you will get 500 (base) + 500 (virtual bonus) + 1000 milestone bonus reward = 1% value

For rest numbers, do your calculations or refer this thread for more information:

Before moving to another debit card, you might ask why we want to use SBI virtual RuPay ?

Answer:
Because "RuPay hai toh zindagi hai!" – okay, sorry, bhabnao me again bahe gaya.

Real answer: Well, the RuPay variant offers rewards at many places—PhonePe, SBI Unipay, PayZapp, Navi, Paytm, Freecharge, BillDesk etc and also no extra charges on some apps using RuPay variant.

You can even pay your Amex and SCB bank credit card bills through BillDesk using RuPay variant.

If you keep using a Visa/Mastercard on just one website, it will get devalued quickly.

The rest is up to you—it's a free country, do whatever you want. But I'll just say, support Indian RuPay card.

3) Bank of India: Better Rewards on All Debit cards (0.46%)

There is a separate post read here and apply Bank of India RuPay Classic/Platinum/Select variant and use on Phonepe app, freecharge app

Why Bank of India RuPay Classic/Platinum/Select variant ?

Answer:
Because "RuPay hai toh zindagi hai!" – okay, sorry, phir se bhabnao me..

Real answer: The RuPay variant has no extra charges on the PhonePe app and Freecharge app.

5) HDFC Platinum Debit Card:

Well, this card is almost dead now, but someone just shared a trick. Read it and try it if you want and first read first few pages comments too -

6) RBL Enterprise Debit Card:

Note - RBL Enterprise DC for milestone benefit, read my 8th point.

1st use -

Freecharge app CC bill pay - 1% charges and 5% upto 1000 cashback (Pay 20k cc bill)

Merchant name/OTP SMS - accelyst solution
After transaction - FREECHARGE PAYMENT TEC Gurgaon IN

MCC Code - 4900

Note: 1% charge above 1k CC bill pay & i think 2 times per CC bill pay allowed per month (first time use 1k cc bill pay and ask RBL customer care to verify your MCC Code)

View attachment 84813

Now 2nd time Use -

Phonepe app - (well, you can do 5 times 2k cc bill pay and pay only 0.3% charges + 5% upto 500 Cashback)

Merchant name - phonepe recharge

MCC Code - 4814

"PHONEPE RECHARGE BANGALORE IN" gives 4814 MCC. The prob is that merchant name comes very rare.

OTP SMS - PHONEPE RECHARGE
After transaction - PHONEPE RECHARGE BANGALORE IN

My bill payment amount is 99,900.
Yes Abhishek, you are correct it is some %, but Rahul ji was saying Rs 32, so i got confused. But rahul ji was saying on VISA debit card. But mine MC Debit. Not sure if MC and VISA makes this huge difference
Rahul ji is using indusind visa debit card on paytm and does 1 or at max 2 payments amounting to 112500
Rahul ji is also searching tricks for indusind mastercard debit card but did not find any, some are saying payzapp is working for mastercard but many including me have not received rewards for payzapp transaction
So rahul ji is asking you why are you not using indusind visa debit card for 99990 payment on paytm?

hello rahul ji, i was not knowing the difference on VISA and MC in terms of charges. I had thought both are same only. Now will ask bank to issue VISA card.

I already have a passport.

If it were just Aadhaar and PAN, the process would be manageable. But updating 10–12th and graduation marksheets makes it a complete mess.

I also want to update it since I face minor issues from time to time, but considering the effort needed to change it across all legal documents, especially education certificates, it doesn’t seem worth the time and hassle.
Whatever @shashankverma said is correct. You don't need marksheets until you are applying for immigration.

I got the US B1/B2 visa in Jan so about that I am sure. Your full name is required in the Aadhar, Passport and PAN. Start by correcting these first.
