You can pay 112500 with indusind visa siganture select debit card on paytm for 3000 reward points, charges will be 32 rupees so profit will be 1050-32=1018
I got reward points last month for this debit card via paytm within 3 days
Only problem is if we have multiple bills worth 1 lakh. We need to pay charges multiple times which brings down the reward rate.

Hi all,

Now that we have most tricks closed, I have a few questions. It would be really helpful if anyone clarifies

1) I have a joint account with IDFC and they emailed me I can’t get first tap card. There goes this option. Is the Visa DC working anywhere at all ?

2) I have HDFC platinum card and it’s almost useless now. Should I apply for Millenia DC ? Where can I use it ?

3) I got a new Amex card recently and have never purchased Apay vouchers/Gift cards. Is there any post here that I can refer to understand more ?

4) I do not have any account with SBI. Is there any detailed post on how to get their VDC and benefits?

Currently, I have two SBI Virtual Debit Cards (VDC), which I enabled this week. I usually have a monthly bill payment of ₹2 lakh. Since the SBI VDC allows payments of ₹50,000 per day, I wanted to clarify the reward structure:
  • The monthly cap for 1% rewards is 10,000 reward points.
  • If I pay ₹50,000 daily for four days, will I receive ₹2,000 worth of reward points (10,000 points)?
  • Will I continue to earn these points every month as I reach the milestone?
Additionally, I’d like to understand the redemption options:
  • Is shopping the only way to redeem these reward points, or can they be converted into cash and transferred to my bank account?
Lastly, my credit card bill never exceeds ₹2 lakh, so using SBI VDC on SBI Unipay seems sufficient. However, would it make sense to apply for an IDFC FirstTap RuPay card? Is it in any way better than SBI VDC for bill payments?

Looking forward to your insights and Thanks a lot in advance for the time and effort to clarify this!
You can pay other credit card bill with SBI Rewards points also. Dont know about the SBI Rewards point cap but you should definately get IDFC First tap DC. As on spends greater than 50k you get 10x rewards points which is way better than SBI VDC.

1) No
2) Apply for Millenia
4) If you are anyway opening a bank acc then open idfc and get firsttap dc

SBI VDC Chronicles:

last time i checked phone pvt ltd is mcc code 6012 (not eligible category code)

2nd thing, visa/mastercard charge - 0.6% for above 2k cc bill payment.

3rd thing, do just Rs100 trxn and verify mcc code with RBL customer care.
Do V/M charge later on with billing? PP charged 0.3% for 10k cc bill pay.

Then this combo will not be useful because paytm charges 32 rupees everytime if we pay visa debit card, it can be useful only if we do a single shot payment or at max 2 payments

Rs 32 charges only for VISA debit cards ? Mine is Indusind master select debit card, Payttm is showing huge convivence fees of Rs 1200 . Could you please confirm ?
