Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in February & March 2025

I'm trying to pay 2 HDFC CC bill payment through Justdial and Kotak 811 debit card. But after login and entering mobile no. and last 4 digit of cards it's shows my wife's full name as first name and asking to fill out last name only. My wife is no where linked with credit card account. For both different cards bill amount also shows same, whereas actual one is 13K and other is 15K. Pls suggest.
Or shall I pay bill through unipay and SBI vdc to avail atleast 0.5% cashback ?

Any solution ?

Today while make credit card payment on Paytm through Indusind Bank Visa Debit card, I am facing convenience fees at the rate of 0.59%. Is anyone else facing same issue?
Any other application at which I can use my Indusind Bank Visa debit card to earn reward points?

Confirmed charges started showing for visa card so now no platform left for indusind debit cards🙃🙃

I had to pay my credit card bill,
and today I opened the Airtel app for just check out and entered my credit card details n clicked on pay,
Surprisingly debit card option was shown there.

My bill was 95000 so I paid it using HDFC ESP card. I know the maximum cashback is 750.

But I did not want to go back and make changes in the bill amount, bcoz I did not want to make any mistake this time, so I paid the entire billing amount using HDFC debit card.

When I tried again, the debit card option is not coming up.

There was some technical glitch.

The merchant name is showing BHARTI AIRTEL LTD.

Surprisingly debit card option was shown there.

Have exhausted monthly limits for IDFC Wealth and SBI VDC. Any other ways left to get DC rewards on CC payments? I have Axis Burgundy, HDFC Platinum and Union Bank Visa Signature DCs.

My experience of getting 1% cashback on HDFC Platinum debit card.

Dec 23 - Opened Savings Max Account and got 'Visa Platinum Debit Card'. Started getting 1% cashback (upto Rs 750) on making payment of ICICI credit card through Bill Pay on HDFC platform. In around 6 months time it stopped automatically.

Nov 24 - Changed the account type to Speciale Gold and also converted to Classic Banking (on request). Placed order for new Platinum Debit Card with hope to get word Classic mentioned it. But again got the same variant 'Visa Platinum Debit Card'. Anyways, again started getting...

I got the firstap sticker card after reading this thread and even made payments above 1000 twice but I've not received any 8000 rewards instead have received just 50 or 40 points and i did the transaction on 24th of march after that time the site is updated and maybe idfc has stopped this

Just wait upto 45 days, 99.99% chance you will get all your pending transaction rewards/welcome rewards.

If you do another transaction then high chance your 2nd transaction credit the welcome rewards.

Note- you can also complaint to customer care after 30 days, they will manually credit or wait upto 45days choice is yours.

Some people also get welcome reward twice on same firstap card, 1st time through manually after complaint and 2nd time within 45days, automatically credited again welcome rewards. 🤣🤣

Airtel had removed the debit card payment option 2 months back,
but maybe I was lucky that day, so I looked for the debit card option, bcoz after paying the bill, when I checked again, the option to pay by debit card was not showing

OMG !!, is airtel planning to bring back debit card ? is it visible for everyone ? I tried many times before (not today), debit card was not showing.

No planing i think, Maybe there would be a technical glitch that day, so I did not take the risk and paid the entire amount, otherwise I would have to regret it again.
