Which SIM Cards do you use?

I already have Jio with yearly pack.... Vi number is quite old which is why I keep that alive

You mean to say that even if there is no active recharge/pack in Jio, incoming still remains active ?
for how long before they disable/deactivate the number ?

Not sure how long do they allow,
But I haven't recharged since last 6-7 months and everything is working fine

1 year max (they close your number without further notice)

Fortunately I'm not much used that number for important things and that too assigned to someone else.

It was assigned almost nearly a year non recharge

For me Airtel and Jio Airtel is primary sim Jio sim I use for Internet purpose especially while going out now getting 5g unlimited free

airtel 2999₹ Plan for my Primary Sim, & Jio as secondary sim & does recharge when there's issue with airtel ( rarely).
Happy with airtel most of the time, since 2 years am recharging with yearly plans.

When my sim started showing no signal when I call it says number is invalid then later a month tried and it got connected to someone..😬

Was this number reciving any calls and SMS before it was deactivated coz they cannot close a number directly.
Read these rules.

What if I do not recharge monthly?

If you do not recharge after the validity of your existing recharge is over, you will not be able to receive incoming calls and messages. If you do not do any recharge in 90 days, your number might get disconnected.
