Will HDFC ask for income proof if you already have a preapproved credit card?

I currently hold a Moneyback Plus and HDFC UPI card with HDFC (Total monthly spends avg 35k). Got it preapproved. I want to apply for Swiggy card. I'm a student and got those cards preapproved 8 months ago with 50k limit. increased to 56k recently. I did some freelance work in Sept and got around 22k. I haven't worked since then (full-time student since). I tried applying through HDFC, but their portal just says I recently applied (that was 5 months ago). I'm planning on applying through the Swiggy app as self-employed with 22k monthly income. Will this work?
I can substantially cut down on bills with that card. Any suggestions?

If they ask for employment details there will be a CIBIL hit usually. But as long as it's not that different should be fine.
If it's pre approved very little chance of asking. I lied on my Swiggy and Neu cards as self employed and went through. But that isn't t the same for core cards. If it's your first card with HDFC there is a higher chance of them asking. I got MB+ when I was a student.
even if they ask for details and might hit cibil but there will be no verification

What did you enter when you got MB+

I thought pre approved means less information needed when applying.

Also, when you say transactions you mean from DCP/UPI?
Transactions in account, what value you hold in terms of relationship.

Most of the time for pre-approved offers, all depends on cibil hit.

They may ask you all thing, they may directly give you card approved.

I have done around 5L debits and 5L credits until now. Mostly used debit card. Mostly maintained 10k. Few 2-3months maintained 50k - 1L. No FD's

HDFC or Axis if you are under 21. If above 21 IDFC, ICICI and Indusind are also worth a try. Yes Bank, SBI, BOBcard, AU, PNB, and HSBC all ask for proof.
