Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new card to complement my Infinia. The main goal is to increase the rewards rate for a few lakhs of donations towards NGOs (both Indian and International). BOGO on movies, and rewards on rental and UPI transactions will be great to have but not necessary.

I recently came across the YES Reserv card, along with the 3X subscription offer for all spends. The following is how I see the reward rates:

• 9% Points on Online Shopping (except on Select categories)**
• 4.5% Points on Offline Shopping (except on Select categories)
• 2.25% Points on Select categories

Assuming 25 paise per RP redemption rate, for flights and hotels.

The 9% rewards rate seems just too good to be true. Can anyone confirm? If it is indeed true, then why is this not the most talked about card for Forex transactions?

P.S: I don't mind paying the annual fee given the rewards.

You should try Rs.1 and phone customer care to confirm if it's in the fashion category

You should do it whenever you want to buy something in fashion, apparel or clothing, especially designer clothes.

Even if they give you a list of MCC you will not know the MCC code of that particular shop you are in

Yes, that is the main difference between reserv and marquee with regard to GV redemptions

the response I received for this query.. on safe side assume statement cycle (points limit).

Is there any way to see breakup of all points being credited?

I was checking regularly in netbanking after transaction settlement and it was matching the calculations (6 point for select categories and 12 points for online assuming remaining 12 for online is credited on statement generation only).

But now my statement is generated today (yet to receive it) and total points balance including bonus 12 for online for whole statement period and bonus 2x for both online and select categories for last calander month points is not matching with whatever calculation I do. Not able to understand the calculations.

I do see one tab in reward redemption portal for earned points history, but it keeps loading indefinitely and doesn't show anything.

Unfortunately, no. We have to calculate with our own excel.

I have Yes First Business card but it cannot be converted to any other card nor can I apply for a 2nd card.

Free online yes Rupay card is useless because it gives points (8 for every 200 rupees) only for transactions about 2000

I am pretty sure about category also, as I verified the 1x base points during transaction settlement itself. Will try some more permutations after statement is received before going to customer care.

Youre right. still the fact that 12points need to be added separately rather than 2x the total base points for post Dec scenario. And not sure when will those 12 points for online tranx be credited? Along with the bonus points or on statement generation ?

statement generation as per earlier statements, not sure they changed anything recently.

They are easily converting reserv to LTF. Just don't activate the card and drop a mail to closure team that you'll activate the card only if they convert to LTF. Someone please try with marquee and let us know

But how do I convert a Yes First Business card LTF to Yes Reserve or Yes Marquee ?
They were refusing to convert and I cannot apply for a second card.
