Yes Bank Reserv + 3X Subscription Plan

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new card to complement my Infinia. The main goal is to increase the rewards rate for a few lakhs of donations towards NGOs (both Indian and International). BOGO on movies, and rewards on rental and UPI transactions will be great to have but not necessary.

I recently came across the YES Reserv card, along with the 3X subscription offer for all spends. The following is how I see the reward rates:
  • 9% Points on Online Shopping (except on Select categories)**
  • 4.5% Points on Offline Shopping (except on Select categories)
  • 2.25% Points on Select categories
Assuming 25 paise per RP redemption rate, for flights and hotels.

The 9% rewards rate seems just too good to be true. Can anyone confirm? If it is indeed true, then why is this not the most talked about card for Forex transactions?

P.S: I don't mind paying the annual fee given the rewards.

is yesbank gyftr txns gives 4.5% rp for marquee cc ?
Groceries also selected category in this card 😳
Then where i need to shop to get 4.5% offline and 9% online ?
Fk grocery, az fresh comes under which category?

Its 2.25% select, 4.5% offline, 6% online (you missed 6 pages thread)

MCC always matter for any transaction for any credit card. If it falls under special you'll get 2.25% even if it is offline or online.

because these are select categories (not excluded as per the screenshot) and provide 2.25% with 3x subscription which needs some 4K+ fee. Do refer official product page, when in doubt (link available in that screenshot).

I frequently shop in d mart offline
And more, ril stores some times
These shops comes under which category ?

go for sc manhattan which provides 5% or hsbc cashback which provides 10% or AU LIT which provides based on your subscription plans for this specific category best cards. Resev with 3x is not the best card for grocery or departmental stores?

Regarding your DMart query hear is the answer:

So far, based on my knowledge YES doesn't have excluded categories, its just the way they credit points different and based on category but all categories works. Same usually applies IndusInd.

Tq so much

Received for FE or Reserv, so they won't leave below cards for sure. Not sure about Private and Marquee.
I didn't get any email.
I have lifetime free Yes First Business card for free lounge access with ZERO spend requirement.
No Priority pass, the card itself has to be used at lounges all around the world.
Is this card affected?

not sure but I think so. they didn't mentioned which cards and no T&Cs in mail. so, mostly all cards.

Yes Bank Devaluation -

We wish to inform you that product features on your Credit Card are being revised w.e.f. 7th March, 2024 as follows:

Rental and Wallet spends will not accrue any Reward Points

Capping of Reward Points earned on Utility Spends - Rewards to be earned upto spends of INR 15,000 per statement cycle

Forex Markup Fee of 1% on Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)* Spends

2 emails - one saying 25K and another saying 15K for utility spends.

I think 25k for Reserv and 15k for Virtual RuPay.

2.25% on utilities upto 15000 (per statement cycle) spends on Reserv 3x is quite pathetic.

It's better to use Amazon pay or Axis Ace on Google pay

DCC will not apply if you choose to pay in foreign currency (not INR)

Before you could do anything, Yes Bank made a smart move by devaluing their cards. 🤣
