2) I am not sure, if the redemption for Marquee is different to other card varaints.. other card variants' veterans can provide their input ...

Flight Booking Comparison Example:

HYD to MAA on 31/01/2024 for one adult:

1) RewardZ = 3,477 - Refundable
2) Amazon = 3,386 - No cancellation
3) MMT = 3,686. - No cancellation

So, it’s kind of comparable with about 5% variation.

Anyone using the yes bank rupay card. It was offered along with Marquee. Is there any benefit which I am missing. Else -
a) Close it separately without impacting Marquee, or
b) Ask for replacement with any better rupay card?

Reward cards meant to accumulate points for some months and sometimes years. Which carries a risk that reward structure may change in between and redemption options not available as per our requirement. But, if proper options available its the best reward you can get from any card.

Eligibility of these cards other than bank specifics, one must be in a position to digest or use the card with worst possible redemption in mind. If they satisfied for that then it doesn't matter 1 or 2 years, freely can use.

But in anycase, things will change and may need to switch cards for better rewards...

I am thinking of getting one of hdfc regaliga gold and yes bank reserve. I was comparing SmartBuy flight prices with skyscanner and it is pretty much the same, can anyone share the experience with yes rewardz portal flight prices ? I am not able to check as they require me to login

Am still waiting for joining bonus points. I shall book flight tickets too once I get those points. I see its asking some 80k points for malaysia , lets see

Today I checked and found all gift vouchers are now at .15p. Fortunately I redeemed 68k points last month. Now if reward points are worth 0.15p only, is there any point of this card now with other things like lounge access also devalued. Now onwards I will stop putting any spends on this card and will close before renewal. I don't need flight redemptions as I find better options for that.

all vouchers? any limits for that like at a time 50% or 70% like that?

lounge etc. will definitely revise after Q1'25 for this card, IMO because they need to keep one high end card for their benefits, with current phase of frequent changes it can be expected.

Yes all vouchers. At .15 rate I can simply credit to account. Yes it allows maximum 50% at a time.
