Nothing special. Only using my millennia cc to fulfil these kind of offers. Only have one cc loan emi (about to end).
My txn. in last three months:
1. January 6*1000 agv for 500.
2. February 6*500 agv for 500.
3. March 6*500 agv (yet to buy) for 500.

Receiving 5% reward points also as per card features. So technically, 13- 22% discount / return. Bill payment cashback addl.

@Jeevan rao Now-a-days they don't send email, I usually get these offers in my mobile app (message box). Can confirm about the fulfillment in next month only. I know earlier they used to send such offers in email only.

Yes, this account will operate on a zero balance, but you will still need to maintain some funds in your account. The branch manager will never provide the same level of service on a zero-balance account that they would for an account maintaining a few lakh rupees.

The best option is to create a fixed deposit (FD) of ₹10 lakh and leave it there. This will ensure that you remain a permanent wealth customer. Even if your account balance drops to zero, it won’t be an issue. Banks typically require an average balance of ₹10 lakh for wealth accounts.

Two to three days after your account is opened, call customer care directly and request a wealth debit card and a special cheque book for wealth customers. Make sure that "Wealth Segment" is mentioned everywhere in your account details. Sometimes, despite being a wealth customer, banks may issue a regular cheque book or debit card instead. You may need to specifically request the correct one.
With Slice SB account, adding a beneficiary requires just the account number for some banks such as Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, BoB, Canara. They do this by adding a common IFSC code, instead of asking branch-specific IFSC code. Nice!

As far as I know it was implemented before year 2018. I tried with Axis that time. You can use any IFSC of target bank.

There are two parts of my profile posts. 1. Appreciation post for slice for providing the ability to skip IFSC code (we still need to choose the bank) 2. (as can be seen in the first comment) about the ability for banks for accepting payments even if a wrong branch is chosen as IFSC.

@JSK111 You are probably talking about #2.

For #1, two other banks (Kotak & Canara) are already mentioned @Aniket . Anyone else seen this in any other bank app (or netbanking)?

I hate liars. Kotak bank employees are institutionalising lying. Earlier, I never touched their stock, now I won't ever touch their products. Cheaters.

(Edit for) Context: Kotal 811 Sucker Account January Cashback. It's not because of the cashback denial, but how their redressal desk deals with it to justify their unethical practices. I can't even log in to the Kotak app after I proved them how they are lying.

@Anupama_Jha Utility txn (MCCs) and some other mcc codes not eligible for cashback. That's they have updated retrospectively from 1st Jan 2025. Their webpage updated it on 28th January, I have received email on same date (I.e., on 28th only). My txn date was 7th January in two different mcc 4900 and 4814. Even though their email received by me (specifically mentioning my CRN number) dated 17th January (and before) asking me to pay utility bills to get 500 cashback.

For a fun, u can see in the screenshot they have prospectively updated t&c for 811 rewards. The date that yet to come... 5 months later. And they finally told me it's written in t&c while signing up for 811 account regarding reward they can do whatever they wish. If they want they can go in past, they can also go in future whichever time whatever they wish we cannot question them. Infact their t&c itself says they can even deny that own t&c if it suits them because web t&c s are sometime not the primary t&c.

Aap hi batao ayse logo ko kea samjhau aur kayse samjhau. Inko samjhate samjhate main mera samajh kho Raha hun. So stopped.

Even ICICI has removed an option to talk to an Agent. Lunatic chaps running these Customer Care outfits.
ICICI CC credit limit can be lowered as per our wish. Currently, it takes less than 60 days for this change to reflect in CIBIL. Used to take upto 90 days. A fellow member also confirmed this a couple of days ago. Ref: https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/38732/

We can lower the limit upto 10% of max limit given to us. For example, if the given credit limit is 5lac, we can reduce it to 50k.

If we hold multiple ICICI CCs, each card can be configured its own limit.

Useful when applying for SBI CC that can reject applications due to over leverage!

The credit limit can be increased immediately upon approval of SBI CC.

Please follow the aforementioned thread to know how to lower credit limit on other banks' CCs.

@Ak Singh Great question. That's yet to be seen. Twice I have lowered the limits. Once, I brought it back up within a month of reflecting in CIBIL. Currently, it is on-going. I am likely to keep this lower limit for a foreseeable future (at least until Diwali holiday sale when I am planning a big purchase, larger than the current limit). Will you everyone know if I get any auto LE before that.

Late realisation: Came to know about HP Pay and installed the app today. Didn't give much attention to this earlier. Looks like there can be some good savings on fuel purchases using this app. Pls comment any useful threads on HP pay, how to use it, how to buy vouchers etc.

I had some zillion coins earned through twid. It was appearing in the app. Just redeemed it and it came to wallet.

Hp pay voucher is available at 3% cashback in hp-pay-gyftr. Plus I think hp pumps are offering 3 rs discount. Need to explore more.

Also good app, much better than Indian Oil ONE.

When adding to wallet via any mode of payment you get 9% Happy coins (2.25% valueback). When paying via HP pay another 3% coins (0.75% value back).

So if you want to load some extra amount before 31/3, buy some voucher at 5% disc, get 3% like above mentioned and pay off with a good dc.. 10.5% value back.

There is one more trick, which I don't know how many people know.. gyfter/yesbank, buy Amazon pay voucher for 1000, get 100 HP pay voucher free, via yes bank cards. if anyone wants, can try that too.. IDK how many times it can be redeemed, haven't tested it.

Please understand, in a thread (particularly the large ones) it's not only the OP who contributed. Many others are equally contributing.
1. Many occasions some posts by others provide more detail information than op on the same issue.
2. Large thread are also outcomes of merging verious related threads (having many ops indirectly)
3. Often op ask a question and other answers that question. Answers are given not necessarily for the benefit of one person.
4. In public forum information archiving is the basic necessities. In private op can do whatever they want.

My view not against u based on my personal choice rather what is more appropriate.

Unknowingly this issue is related to my previous profile post. That has been addressed by TF family. I had only 50% expectations. Please create a thread to discuss what is most appropriate and see what majority people are saying. We should also respect others opinion. Thanks for understanding.
