I was billed ₹3,000 + ₹540 GST (total ₹3,540) as annual fees.
I contacted customer care to request a reversal, but they rejected it. I escalated the matter to their senior team and even the Privy team, but they also declined to reverse the charges. I also asked if they could at least do a partial waiver, but they refused that too.
I then asked if I could cancel the card, but they informed me that cancellation requests are only accepted once the outstanding balance is cleared.
Frankly, ₹3,540 isn’t a huge amount, but it feels like a waste for a card I no longer find value in.
What would you suggest I do now?
Is there still any way to get the annual fee reversed?
Or should I just clear the dues, cancel the card, (or use it for a year) and move on?
Would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!
