All 5399 MCC not eligible for 5% CB - HDFC SWIGGY CARD

Apparently all 5399 MCC (DISCOUNT STORES) are not eligible for 5% Cashback on HDFC SWIGGY CARD. Recently purchased gift cards from Maximize using both HDFC SWIGGY and SBI CB. But only received 5% cashback in SBI CB and 1% cashback in HDFC SWIGGY CARD. Is this correct?

So can i proceed without any headache of merchant name or MCC, as i was planning to get a gold coin from instamart using swiggy hdfc card, it would cost me 9k(After 1000Rs cashback from this card) for 24k 1gm coin. So, in a nutshell, ordering a gold coin from instamart would still fetch me 10% cashback, right?

It's almost the Market rate, but marginally lower as there may be some other costs in the market as compared to the online price.

swiggy instamart is selling for 10k, if you have swiggy hdfc card, you can consider it as well. it will cost you 9k.

Till yesterday night, it was showing, today may be due to akshaya Tritiya, maybe they have disabled that.

So basically no one knows if they will be getting the cashback or not until the bill is generated and cashback gets credited. So now it's risky to order as jwellery is in exclusion list of HDFC Swiggy.

I just checked, now it is not showing cashback for normal Grocery items. Maybe there is some technical error going on.
