With CSB Edge+, do they always give 1% cashback on UPI or is it a hit or miss thing? Also, is there a minimum amount on which 1% cachback is given for example, spend of at least Rs.100?

Nope. you have to use the jupiter app.
They say cashback in the form of jewels but 5 jewels equal to 1 rupee. Need to be careful on this point. 10% of jewels will not be same value while redeeming.
