Increase SBI Card Limit

I have an SBI card. How can I increase the limit of the same and whats the process for the same?

You can send them request for limit enhancement. This will allow SBI to make Cibil enquiry. You will be asked to submit income docs like salary slips/ itr. They will review cibil and income docs and will decide if you should get any limit enhancement or not.

Simply drop a mail to customer service. They will enable the Limit increase section on your card. You can redirect there and type your salary. Based on that, it will show the eligible limit. Post that you have to submit your payslips/itr.

I tried it and got my limit increased. THey say on successful limit increase bank will charge you Rs 199. But didn't charge me till no.

And also charge you incase they decide to increase credit limit. I think SBI rocks here.

Sbi is legendary here. Sbi is being oversmart than axis. Charges ke mamle me axis ko top rehne Dena tha.

They are trying to increase their profits. A lot of such moves were seen in the last 2 years. But as long as they are increasing the limit, I don’t mind paying 199 🙂

True. I forgot to mention they did charge amount for LE request. I have never requested LE as I got LE from bank every year on my SBI card because I used it regularly.
Also, it will good to know if anymore people here got LE request processed but not charged Rs. 200 for them.

I’ve been informed to wait for 21 days by SBI, just to know if my BPCL card is approved 😅

I mailed them that they have not increased my Credit Card limit from 20k for the past 6 years they asked for salary slip and increased it to 55k

Thank god they didnt charge me for it

thanks...i had sent mail on 18th jan...i got reply after 4 days that they have transferred my request to the relevant team and after that there is no update or reply.

was it same for you?

I don't know any specific time but you should keep transacting on that card regularly and maybe within a year you may get offer from SBI for LE.
If you really need to see increased limit before one year then try giving them official request for LE.

Yea then one day I got message it was increased to 55k

I got the CC in my first company with 20k Limit never had any LE after my next company I sent my Salary slip and they increased to 55k

Even after 6 years limit is increased 20k to 55k.

You need to learn good techniques.
