ordered 2 Physical Gift Cards of 10k each. Birthday month. So 500x2 = 1000 cashback received.

Great. Will try it next month then. I have been purchasing E gift card through Amazon app since many months and never got any issue with 500 cb. But this time maybe something got changed

I've mentioned it earlier in the thread- the MCC at AZ was changed midway through the month for such transactions to five-2-six-2.

If you did it in the first week of the month, you'd have received CB.

If you did it later, you wouldn't have got.

It's still a MCC play; not a transaction based one.

Switch was done midway through Oct (first week/first half transactions got it; the second half didn't).

The Nov one will also not be eligible though (because it's now five-2-six-2)

Tried ordering a Physical Gift Card using IDFC Credit Card to check MCC.

I can see the MCC as 5262 and I guess 5262 is not eligible for cashback in many of the CCs.

Can someone confirm if 5262 gives Cashback?

It does not.

Amazon finally changed the mcc from 5399 for GVs. This was done in mid October. Hope they don't screw up normal purchases else both flopkart/amajon will be same.

I had a pre-approved loan offer of ₹5 lakh on my Axis Liberty savings account. Customer care was calling me 5–7 times daily and bothering me, and I told them I don’t want it. Today, when I opened the Axis app, the loan popup appeared again. I just clicked on it to check what interest rate they are offering. As soon as I clicked on the loan option, Axis put a hard enquiry in my CIBIL, even though I didn’t even apply for the loan.

I am waiting for Pre approved cc offer , it's been 5 month of opening this liberty account. Maintainining AMB 50k , but not received cc offer 😔
