Hi All,
There are multiple threads on the similar topic. The purpose of this thread is to consolidate list of all cards which gives point on rent transactions (MCC code 6513). Here is what I understand. Please add/correct what is missing. Classifying it with bank providers and focusing primarily on premium cards with few exceptions.
Axis: All Axis cards carry a fee of 1% + GST (effective 1.18%) limited to Rs.1770 per transactions. Also these spend don't count for milestone benefit (primarily Vistara Cards now) and annual spend for fee reversal.
HDFC: Both DCB and Infinia don't give any reward and charge 1% + GST from second transation onwards.
SBI: Flat charges of Rs.199+Taxes. Most cards don't give any reward on the rent transactions. Looks like SBI Vistara gives the points and count toward milestone benefit. Any confirmation on same will be appreciated.
Standard Chartered: 1% + GST additional charge. No points.
Amex: No charge or exclusion but don't know any way to pay rent using the same.
IDFC Vistara: 1 point per Rs.200. No surcharge. Included in milestone benefit.
Please share your experiences and any other information on the same.
