I recently visited a nearby Novotel hotel and used the "COMPLIMENTARY BUFFET FOR TWO" voucher. According to the hotel staff, they will update the details of the vouchers that have been used in their system, and they strictly adhere to their rules. I don't believe they would accept it the way you are suggesting!
Right, accor seems pretty strict with rules.

I have booked recently. For that
Recently I have booked a room. We need to send a mail to them with the details. You may find the mail id in the All accor website or call them for same. Here is the sample attached. Please note that there is a separate mail id for each hotel.

I spoke to them about the payment process and usage of points in that. They said the payment can be done with points at the time of checkout.
Please update here how it goes post stay.
My travel is in the month of November and sure will update after that..
Finally got it credited today after tons of mails after about 7 weeks of purchase.
