If these high spends, you can also go for Amex Platinum Travel card if the filling station accepts Amex.I spend around 1.5-2 lks a year for fuel
What are the elegibility for it?SBI BPCL octane, let me know if you need any details
Nothing specifically mentioned in site, good cibil score is enoughWhat are the elegibility for it?
A card like bob energy, bpcl octane or iocl can give you good value backI was also once looking for a fuel card for annual spend around 1.5 -2L. But many cards have cap limit on surcharge waiver and/or cashbacks. Max you will get some 200-300 per month as cashback. (That is like being penny wise pound foolish by looking to save this chillar paisa). Because you fill petrol for 10000 rs and save some 100 or 200. Not worth the effort for me.
I don't want a headache on tracking the fuel spends and looking for this small amount savings.
Just use any credit card and pay the bill during month end. If you have a good premium card, then mostly there won't be any surcharge. (I use icici sapphiro and they refund full surcharge).
Plus, enroll for the loyalty program and just give your mobile number each time when you fill fuel. You will get some minimal amount in the loyalty wallet that you can redeem later.
Max cap per month for BPCL Octane is 675 Rs. Which is more than 6L fuel. Yearly 72-75L free fuel is a big thing. One can also buy HP pay voucher from amex reward multiplier.I was also once looking for a fuel card for annual spend around 1.5 -2L. You will hardly find the HP Pay vouchers on the Rewards Multiplier. In the case of cars, direct fueling 1500+ 4 times a month with MRCC can help 1k points 🙁 (Not considering Gold coz of the high fees.)Max cap per month for BPCL Octane is 675 Rs. If someone has around 2L fuel spends per year and dont have amex card, then they can get BPCL Octane + Axis IOCL(offered LTF to many) + BoB/IDFC HPCL cobranded card. This way they will have flexibility to choose from any fuel station and receive minimum of 4% valueback on fuel spends.
Axis IOCL, currently not sourcing LTFAny LTF credit cards which provide cashback/rewards on fuel?
Thank you @Anupama_JhaAxis IOCL, currently not sourcing LTF
