I'm yet to be offered any, so can't expressly recommend the method.

Tried applying even selected salary instead of self employed entered salary as 340000 per month and entered Axis card details with limit of 6lakh (Magnus was not an option on drag down so simply typed) , but showed only two cards Classic and Millenia with mere 75k limit, proceeded with classing and scheduled vkyc for tommorow. Although will not be doing it.

Haha it did. Gave 3L as monthly salary along with C2C Kotak Zen (6.9L limit). No income documents were asked and showing 10L as limit for Wealth CC (which would be highest if approved). Hope they approve.
Good for you, but after April 24 devaluation, is ut worth to get an IDFC Wealth Card?

It was never worth since last year's devaluation. But I was stuck with Millennia for a year, so cancelled it and applied for the topmost card with IDFC. Purely for any Visa Infinite offers and IDFC offers.
I see ,I'm stuck with a Select with 3.63L limit ,
Was trying to get my hands on wealth untill recently, but after they kept spend criteria on all benefits, i just stopped bothering
I'm keeping it for IDFC offers as well

I just tried myself after closing select and got wealth
Something funny happened recently,
I was reconsidering my card collection and decided to close down my IDFC Select with 3.63L along with a bunch of other cards,
So i just gave a closure request on app and waited for the call
When i got the call from retention team few days later, i wasn't expecting much, she asked me why, i said no use, i thought she'll offer some points which I'll deny,
But then suddenly she said I'll upgrade you wealth on your current limit, i told her I've called and emailed for the multiple times to no avail, she said that's the customer care, we're the retention team, we can do it right away, you'll have the card in 7 days,
I was skeptical went ahead anyways thinking what's the harm
Cut to today morning when i received an sms and a email saying my upgrade request has been closed,
at first i got bit agitated but when i check IDFC app, wealth card showed up
Now i know it's a pretty useless card now, i might end up closing this one as well few months later, but for time being I'm gonna give it a try

More than three lak then if you place close request they will upgrade to wealth easily
