Thats not the case anymore. You can open a wealth account directly with 10L initial funding cheque. If you dont have 10L, then you can talk with BM and negotiate for 8L.You can't open wealth direcly as its a program not a account variant. Its good then. My account was opened in august last year so i shared the general process.Thats not the case anymore. You can open a wealth account directly with 10L initial funding cheque. If you dont have 10L, then you can talk with BM and negotiate for 8L.
I would suggest opening with 10L cheque and then withdrawing after 1-2 months if you cannot maintain it.
Also, do note the Interest rates on IDFC for 5-10L is 7% which is better than keeping the same funds in other savings account

Unipay is giving utility mcc for dc payments. Cred and mobikwik gives either quasi cash or wallet.Why is everyone using Unipay? Cant we get points when paying from Cred , Mobikwik using Debit card
