Hi,

Eligibility criteria on the website says maintaining TRV of 5 Cr. I have read somewhere that they actually open Burgundy Private relationship with much lower TRV. Can anyone share their experience on how much TRV was expected.

Based on recent conversations with Axis, the eligibility criteria seems to be:

Burgundy:
- Monthly salary credit of 3L
- AQB - 10 Lacs

Burgundy Private:
- Salary credit of 5L or
- NRV 5cr (could be negotiated to 1cr as mentioned above)

Does the salary credit value change based on city tier?
I read somewhere in the forum that you can negotiate the salary credit also, say 2L for burgundy account. Have you heard anything about that?

I had discussion with Axis Burgundy Private Advisor few months back in Bangalore and he mentioned there is no such criteria for account opening. You can open the account with 5L or 10L cheque but would need to maintain NRV ~1cr by mid-year or end of year else the account will be degraded. Again, this can vary advisor by advisor.

When we say Net Relationship Value or Total Relationship Value of 5cr, What does it implies ?

1. 5cr of Bank Balance only in each account
2. 5cr of Bank Balance + Demat Holding combine
3. Total family balance of 5cr

What someone tell exactly what TRV OR NRV includes and excludes.

That 2l for non metro cities
Check with your branch it will be better

This seems correct and this is what i have been told , but for this Axis should have a tie up with your organisation is what i have been told

Unless you have 1CR/year salary its not going to work. HR probably got confused with general Burgundy to Private

Also there is no Burgundy private even with salary of 5L/month at least based on some threads I have seen here...only takes 5cr nrv

That's not true. There is Burgundy Private based on Salary too, though definitely not Rs. 5 Lac a Month. Recently got it done for a CTO of a Large MNC

Most Burgundy Rm don't share correct deatils as they don't want to lose a Burgundy constomer , as soon as your account is upgraded you are shifted to Burgundy private Rm

Axis is quite okay to loose a Burgundy customer if they dont maintain the required AQB. They follow it very strictly.
