SC CC bill payment via HDFC DC not reflected

I have made payment for Standard Chartered CC of amount Rs 50000 using HDFC DC via HDFC billpay on internet banking. But it is not reflected on the credit card yet. Usually, it takes 2-3 days.

Although, reward points for debit card are already credited.

Any suggestions?


UPDATE: Payment credited today (5th).

same here made payment on 1st via HDFC bill pay/ 3rd is the due date. sill not credited yet.... my bill is around 5k so i made payment again via cheq today.. will have to cheq which payment will credit first ,,

For which bank card you did the payment?

Same for me. Made bunch of payments on June 1st.
SBI, AXIS got credited. HSBC, there's no sign of payment yet.

1-7 days that is the range I have experienced same day to 7 days, hence best is to pay with 7+ days buffer and sit tight for 7 days

What's the timeline ?
This is my first payment on hsbc cc (New card). My due date is 6th of June. Statement says there's additional buffer of 3 days before reporting to cibil, I am worried about the interest charges. so do they charge interest if paid within buffer days ?

NO they can not even if they charge you use RBI circular and get it back a friend got 3 days late bill fine, interest and cibil corrected just by asking PNO in one of the banks.

what's the RBI guideline ? But they can just say, you made late payment and charge, isn't it ?

Even though I made payment via billdesk 6 days in advance but if its not reflected on their end; they can shift blame to me ?

Sir it was done 3 days after and RBI gives 3 days grace for all payments be it CC or Loan payment. We only asked for CIBIL late removed and were okay to pay fine as it was mistake on our side kudos to SBI for reversing charges as well.



One thing I observed with Billdesk (I made only ICICI and Axis) HDFC even though the payments get credited late but payment date is backdated to amount debit date. You can check at your end the same I will cross verify and reply to this thread later tonight

Mine paid on 9th. Due date is 12th. Not yet credited. So no issues on late payment or cibil mark?
