I will bu through Policy bazaar when HDFC doesn't allow me to pay through apay balance. I see same premium in both sites. I have already loaded amazon wallet.He is probably the one and only person who paid via Apay

How much is the total premium difference when paying monthly premium instead of full premium upfront while buying Optima Secure 3 year plan ?
The biggest difference is that you lock your premium for 3 years.
Generally it increase 5-8% each year. In covid it jumped like 20-30%

No, this is not what i wanted to ask. Let me ask again with an example My friend (Age 26) bought Optima Secure 3 year plan of 10L base cover
Total cost of 3 year plan was ₹42737 paid ₹6411 upfront remaining ₹36326 was converted to EMIs. So now he will be paying ₹1513 for 30 months, so the total cost of 3 year plan went from ₹42737 to ₹51801 so he will paying extra ₹9064 in monthly premium instead of full premium upfront
He bought through agent and his EMI was sanctioned through Fibe Loan
I want to know this is how it works if we choose to pay monthly premium instead of full premium upfront for a long term plan like in this case.
Monthly is generally atleast 5% higher. You can compare it on Policybazar, just register using a fake ID so they dont spam you

I have heard all the bad things about them and good about ditto but yeah I enquired for apay and ditto mentioned buy from anywhere but the payment will be done on HDFC site and no they don't support AmEx if that's what you wanna ask.
did it work? were you able to buy through Policy bazaar and pay using Apay balance?

I haven't bought yet. But I went till payment page and Apay balance is available.

To pay HDFC ergo premium using Amex cards or amazon pay balance mail cgo@hdfcergo.com stating you want to pay premium amount using Amex card only, they share razorpay link which supports them. Post transaction completion, mail them transaction reference number then company will share your policy copy.
I've personally paid 1 policy premium with Amex and another with amazon pay balance.
