AMEX 30% bonus on APay vouchers

Instead of 30% bonus on Marriott points transfer, AMEX came up with a disappointing offer of 30% bonus on transferring points to APay vouchers.

The sad part is they have 5k and 2k voucher for this redemption but they don't provide higher value vouchers on Gyftr.

Is this a targeted offer? The wording in the email makes it seem like it.

And can you combine this offer with the 18k/24k collection on the MRCC and Gold Charge?

I will close my Platinum card by end of this month, as it is due for renewal next month with a fee of 70K. Unfortunately, I won't receive the additional voucher, even if I redeem the points for an Apay voucher.

Sadly, MRCC is like orphan child when you considers amex offers
