Need suggestion for Amex mrcc alternative

Hi Community, I want to close out my MRCC as it getting very difficult to use it after the recent devaluations and limitation of buying Amazon vouchers from gyftr and also it’s very annoying to buy 250 value vouchers for monthly spends. Please suggest me which card I can go for as an alternative to buy the Amazon vouchers and get good value from it.

buy swiggy vouchers from gyftr. it gives same points 5x and u can use it on swiggy instamart etc. quite convinient for me tbh.

But I won’t be able to pay the insurance bills and other bills that I usually pay via those Amazon pay vouchers, that’s the main pain area.

Rs 250 denomination, and also Only Rs10k per calendar month and availability of apay giftcards and transaction failures

why not get Amex gold charge card? It pays regular rewards on utilities and fuel and is also included in monthly spends. Plus, the Gold charge card gets a 5x multiplier on gyftr which means you get better value even for limited purchase of amazon vouchers. you can easily earn higher reward points than MRCC.

Alternatively, get ICICI Amazon credit card if you are using Amazon exclusively to pay.
You can use HDFC Regalia for paying insurance and utilities. It gives 1.3% reward points.
You can get Axis Ace credit card for paying utilities via Gpay.
you can get Airtel Axisbank credit card for cashback.
Last resort would be standard chartered which gives 2% unlimited reward points but redemption is an issue.

True, MRCC was a decent option before the limitations added to it and I am looking for a long term alternative to it, so that I don’t have to keep applying for different cards after sometime, MRCC I was using since last 6 years but it has become a headache to use now

No 5% , 1% only.

Also please don’t forget the reduction in value of 18k and 24k gold collection vouchers from 7k to 6k worth.
