Saving max account option only available if your income is greater than 10L

Never Ever.....Never Ever...go to branch for such account... They will ask for 2 lakh - 5 lakh cheque...etc

And if they simple write a mail to pno fir ghar par aayenge khulwane

You can upgrade your account to saving MAX via HDFC Xpressway portal. So, if you don’t want to go the branch you can upgrade your account online but for that you need to have existing account with HDFC.

Either open savings max account directly by showing annual income more than 10L or open normal account and then convert to savings max on hdfc xpressway portal.
Entire process in both methods is online

25k balance wont promise any ltf card with good limit
Even after having savings max account and fd i applied ltf Regalia card offline by salary criteria

I think it's Enabled by default. My RM, customer care both said the same thing. Honestly, I don't agree so have sent an email to grievance.

Honestly, coming to HDFC feels like 90s Banking. In my 15 years of banking with Citi and Icici, I hardly went to branch for any work not here,

- salary account main convert karwana hai toh plz visit branch
- auto sweep in deactivate karwana hai toh plz visit branch

I feel so frustrated and thinking of moving to another bank. Are all HDFC RMs so bad?

i think they ticked some additional option while opening your account. You should ask customer care if you can disable from your home.

Customer care asked me to visit the branch. For everything, this is their answer.. "Go to the branch". Even to change the account to Salary account, they asked me to visit the branch. So irritated with them rn.

The Free Platinum DC you get with this account what variant is it (visa/mc/rupay)? The product page for Savings max account gives link to Easyshop Platinum Debit Card. This however does seem the same as a regular Platinum DC or even Rupay Platinum DC. Please guide as I am thinking of opening this account for the DC as well as eventually get pre-approved offer for a CC, but mostly to have a secondary savings account. Primary savings account is in SBI.
