Depends whether MCC of the merchant where you are doing the tap and pay transaction is excluded or not

I got message as "Your Kotak Bank Debit Card ending XXX was issued on date, The same will be dispatched"
But i dont see any DC on app.
It says to apply for free virtual DC. But When i apply gives message "You are nor eligible to apply for DC"
Any idea regarding this?

How long does it take for 811 Super debit card to appear in the app? I converted my old 811 account to Super account few days back and even got the cheque book today, but no trace of the physical debit card or virtual debit card. The app still shows the old 811 debit card. Can I use it for cc bill payment?

You must have received DC issue email and sms tracking of consignment. Usually it delivered 4-5 dates after (with check book) or next working day after delivery of check book. Have u checked 300 deducted? Virtual should show by now max wait tomorrow then contact customer care...

I have not yet received any welcome kit . I understand from FAQ ,that DC and cheq book will come separately.
My question is when DC is generated and to be shipped, then i dont see the virtual DC in kotak811 app .
I hope you got the question....

Santosh Ji, you will receive both the cheque book and the debit card physically.

You will also receive virtual card and physical card. Both will have the same name, number, expiry date, and CVV. You name it, it have it.

When will you get them? Typically, it takes 6-7 working days for both to arrive. Once you get your physical debit card, do a small transaction to activate it.

Where can you use it? You can spend it wherever you like. Just make sure that the mcc is not in exclusion, otherwise, you won’t get cashback. Read T&C for it.

Wait for a couple of days. It will be generated before or on the same day when your physical card is about to be delivered.

Debit Card is generated 2 days back and last 4 digits is shared by SMS.
But in app it doesn't show !!! that the only doubt i had.
Other banks show the virtual DC details , before delivery.
Also can we apply multiple DC in kotak super savings ac ?

Waiting is your only option. Just because other banks are doing it doesn't mean Kotak will do the same. I have not applied for multiple DCs, as I already own 2, and the Super DC is the best one you can own.

Generally, Kotak allows 1 account per customer ID, but exceptions are always there. Maybe try a different branch? If you get the same response then it's not possible.

Hey guys , had kotak 811 account from past 5yrs due to spendz a/c not able to upgrade to 8111super. went to branch last friday submitted the form for spendz closure got mail confirmation for closure by night spendz a/c closure completed . open the new 811 app login 14th friday night paid 5000 and volla upgraded to 811 by midnight . Got mail confirm new dc will be issued & cheque book issued. Next day got mail new debit card ending with xxxx issued. Monday got dispatch messege from kotak welcome kit wll reach you by 19th . Got 811super debit card along with cheque book today.
