Hi,
One of my friends lost around 6k in the classic Flipkart delivery scam.

He paid the amount via Axis Neo Rupay Credit Card UPI to the fraud person before having the delivery,

already filled and sent the chargeback form to axis, Local Police station GD copy also sent to axis.

axis replied something weird.

seeking suggestions

any chances to recover?

Your friend paid to a fraud person? I don't think Axis can do much in this situation.
 
Try with ombudsman, you may get reversal, bank should give chargeback but not that easy they give, alao how much tike after you files chargeback ? And why your friends paid to delivery person?
 
Raise chargeback for Goods/services not rendered and fraudulent transaction depending on your talk with the chargeback team on phone. But before raising chargeback you need to gather some details.

bhai kya mai bhi chargeback ka dal sakta hu kya mere sath telegram p scam hua tha 42k ka 23 jan ko maine 30min. k aander hi sbi mein complaint dal di thi or cyber crime mein bhi. fir cyber crime se amount hold k msg aae maine unko phone kiya ki ye amt hold k msg aaya hai toh jisne phone uthaya tha vo bola ignore karo jarurat hogi toh sir khud phone karenge. aaj tak kuch nahi aaya.

In this case, if the transaction is processed through OTP/PIN, it has bare minimum chance to be recovered, chargeback would be raised by bank but same depends on beneficiary bank and person. Although upon legal proceedings it can be recovered but not in short time.

My friend according to guidelines you also need to register a complain on 1930 cybercrime also you can do the same via sanchar saathi mobile app attaching your local police station fir copy. You need to do this within 3 days of the incidence and your chances are bright of recover. Accirding to law if you inform within 3 days bank is lianle to pay 100 % , After 3 days iit ranges between 75% to 50% and after 7 days it is in 25% to 50 %. Download the sanchar sathi app amd register, go to chaksu reporting section and tegister your complain asap. Alternatively call on 1930 and register your complain, be fast you need to do this before 3 days deadline since the incident happen. You can search for Amit Dubey cyber expert video on yourube to gain more clarity on such issues and remwdyial measures

I don't understand what you said, so, I used translator. Forgive me if I misunderstood anything.

Since you lost it via telegram which means they promised something and you did not get the goods or services, right. You can raise chargeback for Goods/services not rendered category. Attach the chat as proof of purchase. Merchant bank have to get proof and provide to close chargeback, and since they did not sell you anything, you'll win by default.

where i can file chargeback complaint. and i scamed on telegram they give tasks google map link for rating them if we complete 3 task they give money. after completing 6 tasks they told to submit some money for upcoming tasks. for first 2 paid tasks they give money but on the third tasks they want higher amount to submitted. i submitted 15k + 27k then they told another 40k need to submmited for completing the task then they give 103000. then i got this is a scam because how they transfer 103000 with upi. then i didnot pay 40k and file complaint.

Similar incident also happened to me someone made a fake delivery in my address via Ekart and I paid via Kotak Rupay Credit Card Upi, I immediately filed a chargeback and after 20 days I got my money back

I made about 5K so far from these people. Only do the first 3-4 tasks when they give money and then stop responding when they ask for money.

Beware of accounts in which you got money if any such account caught for fraud by andha bahra cyber crime cell all chain accounts will be frozen
