I have been using the AU Bank Zenith credit card for the past two years. My initial credit limit was ₹8.0L.
However, over the last three months, the bank has progressively reduced my limit without clear justification:
The annual fee for the Zenith card is ₹7,999 + GST. When I asked if my card was Lifetime Free (LTF), they denied it, confirming the annual fee remains. The fee waiver requires an annual spend of ₹5.0L, which is difficult to achieve.
As an alternative, they offered to shift me to the Altura LTF card.
Interestingly, during one conversation with customer care, an employee mentioned that the Zenith card is a premium card with a minimum credit limit of ₹5.0L, which contradicts my current limit of ₹10K.

- Nov 2024 (End): Reduced from ₹8.0L to ₹4.2L
- Following Week: Further reduced to ₹4.0L
- Subsequent Reductions: ₹2.9L → ₹2.0L
- Jan 2025: Finally, reduced to just ₹10K
