hello team,

I have paid 49600 rs for my cousin's icici with my hdfc dc on sbi unipay today.initially it showed succesful and later i saw "payment failed and incase of
any debit,it will be credited in 3-4 business days". The amount that showed up in the page was 496 rs and there is no info about the transaction anywhere inspite of
giving my mobile number & email address.

what should i do to ensure the refund of 49600 is tracked & credited.

I paid HDFC CC bill using HDFC DC on SBI Unipay today & transaction went successfully but not visible in transaction history. What can be done?
Anyone else facing this issue?

Hopefully you downloaded the receipt. If it's successful need not worry it will get credited to cc account in a day or two. You should also have received a msg or email for the same

Okay Thanks for all your inputs.

This was such a cluster F.

  • After multiple attempts to pay via PZ & Airtel last few days I gave up.
    • And PZ & SBI have no clue how & why
    • New reason/ excuse every time.
  • Today I tried piece by piece method suggested by @Abhishek012 using
    • 1000 x 5 - via Airtel App.
      • 5k Paid. 3k+ Outstanding Remains.
    • Then it stopped me as not allowing to retrieve bill more times.
      • I dont want it but automated bull.
  • Then there was 3011 outstanding balance remaining from the 8011.
    • So paid that via Canara Bank portal that was suggested by him.

Success.

I would like to know of other such options that have better and open flexible BBPS systems.

Now the drama of whether anymore can be paid or received or rejected by SBI.

SBI keeps sharing 16k amount and given after the refunds outstanding is 8k.

But the bloody apps & bill retreival auto pull and sticks to 16k - which SBI apparently is not allowing me to pay.

This must be the issue and I will try to see if and how much more I can pay to SBI to see where this experiment breaks & blocks.

PS: Tried to put another 1000 Rs after paying the Outstanding balance and it fails at Canara Bank BBPay.

It has to do with SBI idiots blocking anything more than Outstanding Balance, while repeatedly insisting on & and feeding us the Bill Due amount.

Alarming Experience with SBI Unipay - Be Warned

Hello everyone,

I paid for my Axis and SCB card bills via my Fi debit card in increments of 1500 each to maximize the benefits from Fi. I usually make these payments 7 days ahead of the due date.

Today, I noticed two refunds in my Fi account. Upon checking, I found out they were from SBI Unipay. To my horror, both card due dates were today and tomorrow. Thank God for the 7 days schedule.

Here's where it gets even more sinister: There is NO record of these transactions on the Unipay portal, not even under the failed section. Despite seeing the "payment successful" screen each time, there’s no trace the transactions happened on Unipay except through my Fi statement.

Be cautious, everyone!

🥂

How, not even the transactions details are showing
My transcation got failed on 14th August...
I contacted SBI merchant no real solution..
Ultimately I raised complaints to HDFC...
They refunded from their side after the TAT period on 23rd septmeber...
I am happy with the service of HDFC...I am felling safe with HDFC...
SBI Unipay is too risky...I have stopped using it...
Using Canara Setu and Airtel...

Same thing happened with me but the amount was 20000 debited from my HDFC db and showing 200 only after payment in the page . I talked to the sbi customer support, they don't even recognise sbi Unipay . Also emailed to the mail mentioned in customer support of Unipay . There was no reply. Now only thing remaining is chargeback . It's 7 days now. I will wait 1-2 days more for chargeback . There is no responsibility from sbi side . It's frustrating. I have been trying for 7 days .
Please do tell me if there is any luck for you or you get your money back .
Did you got the refund?

Adding my failure problem to the thread.

Paid Rs 15000 using Unipay with my SBI VDC but it failed. The failure payment receipt shows Rs 15000 itself. This happened on March 13th.
I got 150 points (+150 for VDC) in rewardz portal.
Waiting for refund. I'll update this thread if and when refund comes. So far no response from anywhere. I have sent a mail to support.unipay@sbi.co.in today.

Sorry, but I honestly want to know what's up with the rush? You did payment on 13th and it got failed.

14th for non-working day
15th Saturday
16th Sunday

Today, 17th is the first working day.

Generally, it takes 3-5 working days for any failed payment to reverse. If this seems too much then you shouldn't be using unipay. Use UPI and pay, no stress.

Problem solved.

I didn't tell that I have any rush. Just shared my experience. Is it a problem?

Sometimes it takes 7-10 days (working) to get the amount back. It happened with me recently for an amount of 36400. I got the refund on the 7th working day.
I tried to pay 30k. Money was debited from SBI Virtual Debit Card. But the transaction was unsuccessful.

I mailed all the available email but no reply from their side.

Should I wait 7 days ?
