Moreover, I think this thread or other channels have bought a surge in Cent Queen Accounts. Just today when I went to branch for Mom's Passbook I got to know that they have received a directive from zonal head (This monday-written) that people are misusing Cent Queen and display caution on issuing cards to new customers.
can anyone confirm dc is still being given to new 2nd holders.

See this ss, I am getting error.View attachment 87764

How did you logged in mobile app?
I am getting error debit card not activated, please use other channel for debit card activation.
Did you already create netbanking before mobile app registration?

Man make sure you are using the secondary CIF (both CIF have diff mobile and net banking). However to avoid all this, generate green pin via IVR (call 1800 3030) atleast that way you can atleast activate your DC.

On a separate note. @kuchbhi , I pressed (persuaded) the new guy in branch about second cent queen DC on my mom's account and he shared a doc with me.

This should clear doubts for people trying to get multiple DCs on one CIF ID.

Well good news I tried in a different branch in a good location just 3 kms away from my home. I asked the lady in the branch that I want to open cent queen account for my sister with my father as a joint account and she said hojayega. Then I said I also need debit card for both account holders and she said apply via app for second account fir maine kaha cent queen wala debit card chahiye wo aap hi apply kr sakte ho. She said yes ham krdenge. She was a new joinee so I think that's why she agreed. Yippee :hehe:

Yup these guys are so inconsistent even unstable molecules seem more consistent. Imagine the conditions of PSU banks before the merger. I think we need one more merger to bring down the number to 5.

Eitherway as I said, don't fight with PSU banks if you can find a good branch, just change your branch.

@ritwik2000 yes it is still being given, however, be a bit smart about it and you might have to search for a good branch. If you have already opened an account, try to find the youngest employee in the branch to get the 2nd DC.

I called on this number 1800 3030, I connected to cbi customer care they said to me that you can't generate green pin through ivr. Only option is online or cbi atm.

I called them and although there is an option to Generate Green Pin, it just forwards the call to the Cust Care Representative. Your only option is ATM if you can't get mobile/net banking working.

I want to confirm some things about this account ( thinking to open for my sister)
1) website says zero bal account ( or they made any changes which existing holder received over mail )
2) to waive off the dc fee ( two wallet load transaction counts ) or any other.
3) any other charges you guys faced

Nope no charges but don't sign up for 20 rs insurance just deny don't know about sms charges but most probably 0

bro, how many people can open joint account,
(point no 10 on the photo says 3)

example, if my mom open queen cent,
can my dad & me both be joint account holder with my mom queen cent a/c ??

I am not able to activate my add on card, when I am activating mobile banking it showing debit card not active. When I am registering net banking by any method it showing error wrong kyc details.
When I activating from debit card it showing error. How Can I activate my dc?
CBI atm not nearby.
Any way to activate dc through on call?
If you have the number of anyone from branch ask him/her to generate branch token. Else you can look up here https://www.centralbankofindia.co.in/branch_locators/ to get Branch Manager's mobile number. Call him/her to generate branch token. They will send it to the CIF's registered mobile number. Use the option "I have Branch Generated Token" to register for mobile banking or internet banking or activating debit card or setting TPIN, etc., etc.

Guyz @kuchbhi

Received the two DCs for my Wife's account. Got an SMS for Mom's two days back. Took 10 days for cheque book and DC delivery.
What is your scenario? Your mom and wife have primary accounts, and you are joint account holder in both of them? If so, you must be having a single CIF for both of your joint accounts. And as per the policy, one can have only one debit card type per CIF.
