What is your scenario? Your mom and wife have primary accounts, and you are joint account holder in both of them? If so, you must be having a single CIF for both of your joint accounts. And as per the policy, one can have only one debit card type per CIF.

Yes I found this out in real time. We were experimenting if this was possible apparently not. Here is the policy document in writing...

BTW @ontherocks how did you came to know about this policy?

How did you logged in mobile app?
I am getting error debit card not activated, please use other channel for debit card activation.
Did you already create netbanking before mobile app registration?

Man make sure you are using the secondary CIF (both CIF have diff mobile and net banking). However to avoid all this, generate green pin via IVR (call 1800 3030) atleast that way you can atleast activate your DC.

On a separate note. @kuchbhi , I pressed (persuaded) the new guy in branch about second cent queen DC on my mom's account and...

So this is confirmed that we can't have 2 DC on one cif
So better approach guyz

Open a join account with primary female and 2 others that 3 people single account

And ask for 3 dcs as simple as that

Since it's clearly mentioned in documents
2 dcs besides 1 primary dc can be issued!

Today I visited branch and asked for branch token for mobile banking activation.
I got 6 digit code but when I entered it shows error service not available. I showed this error message to branch staff they said yes there is something problem with this method from last friday. And irony is that all atm nearby my area out of service from fridays.
Even their atm's are not working.
What type of bank this? I am fed up with these psu banks, 3rd class bank and service.

that's how privatization works. slowly govt degrades service of psu's to get public frustrated & who will then obviously support the sale to private players.

Third Class bank hai Maine to debit card ke liye account open kiya hai bas. Tumhara to vo bhi nhi chal rha.

Seems like ur situation worse than me. Don't know why psus dont provide easy services

They will slowly move to tab banking once the audit makes/allows them to switch from paper to Tabs. Until then it's paper my brother.

I asked for rent agreement should work she denied for that too.
